With the winter months in full swing, it is so important to pay a little extra attention to taking care of your skin! This at home spa night is perfect!
The most amazing At home spa night, step by step!
Put in a hair mask
I LOVE to use coconut oil for a hair mask, and face moisturizer after intense masks.
Moisturize the hands
I am lucky that I have access to a wax hand thingy that I can use to moisturize my hands quite intensely! It really wasn’t that expensive and I use it pretty often, so it was totally worth it!
I always exfoliate before I use any sort of clearing mask, and my current favorite is the L’ORÉAL Exfoliate & Refine Clay Mask. It makes my skin so stinking smooth and I can tell that my face has less texture after using it.
Run yourself a bath
This is the best part!!! Pick a few of your favorite candles and light them near the tub. I love to use a lush bath bomb for my bath as well, something moisturizing and smells nice! I usually make myself a hot tea to have while I’m in the bath also. It’s great to turn on the spa radio station on pandora to really get that “spa” feeling.
Exfoliate your body
There is no better feeling than having exfoliated, soft skin! My favorite for as long as I can remember is the Soap and Glory flake away exfoliator. Afterwards I hop in the bath for however long I want and enjoy life!
Put clearing face mask on
My pores get so clogged it’s insane! I use the accompanying L’Oreal Paris Detox & Brighten Pure-Clay Mask.
Throw on a comfy bath robe!!!
Lotion it up!
While I have my clearing mask on and I’m in my robe I love to lather lotion all over my freshly exfoliated skin. I will either use a body butter I have, or if I’m out I will just use regular lotion.
Put moisturizing mask on
I usually use a rose sheet mask from Sephora for this part. If Ive got some on hand I love using gel eye masks at this time too. A little tip is to throw them into the refrigerator the night before so they are cold, it will help with puffiness!
Mani and pedi
The final step I usually do is my nails! I have been loving this polish combo lately. I usually use the “eternal optimist” for all of my nails, and then “summit of style” on my ring fingers.
